I Need Guest Post and a New Blog List!

As you know we will be adding a new baby to the mix in September. As if that weren't stressful enough, we have also been looking for a new home(TO BUY!!!).We haven't found anything yet, but we continue to look. All of these events are going to be happening at the beginning of the new school year for my 6 year old.

I will need to focus most of my attention on my family during that time, but I don't want to leave my readers with the same post for weeks to months.

So here is what I need:

*Guest post about anything even loosely related to the theme of this blog. You do not need to have a blog to send in a guest post.

Some ideas:

-recipes(with pictures please!)
-inexpensive activities for families/ kids
- gardening post
- DIY post
- money saving tips
-personal stories
-success stories
- anything else you would like to share(somewhat related to this blog's theme)!

*In addition, I would love to introduce some new blogs to my readers to peruse while I am "away". If you have or know of a great blog please share. I will compile a post with all the new blogs(and brief descriptions) so everyone can visit them at their leisure. Any type of blog that you love is welcome, as long as it is relatively family friendly. This means you wouldn't be embarrassed looking at it in front of you parents or your children and nothing illegal is promoted.

You can send your post ideas and blog suggestions to me at savingsmakescents @ gmail . com (remove the spaces). I would like to have all finished post and suggestions by August 15th so I have some time to organize.

Thanks so much for your help!

I like your idea of maintaining the blog during your busy time with guests! It's some insurance that your blog won't die off while you are tackling the things that really matter, and that lead to much more long-term rewards. Good luck with everything!

I would love to be a guest post, but unfortunately time will be scarce for me come fall. Hubby's been laid off since March so I went out and got a job and I start next month - and it's full time - yikes! Along with adjusting to that and keeping my own blog running I will also be trying to take one class at the local college so I can finish my associates (3 classes to go)...

Hope all goes well. Congrats on the new addition to the family.
