I've referred to but never really explained what swagbucks is. I think most who read this blog already know, but if there are a few who don't I will explain.

Swagbucks is a search engine like yahoo or google. There is one main difference though- you get paid to use swagbucks! You just need to sign up and search to start earning gift cards (and just recently they added paypal as a prize!). Did you know the other major search engines make money off your queries? Using swagbucks lets you get in on that!

You will not earn swag bucks(a point system they use) for every search you do. It is like a slot machine where you win randomly for just searching normally. I win 2-3 times a day- never back to back though. You can win 1-5 swag bucks each time you win. On fridays you can earn up to 100 swag bucks for one search(Mega Swag Bucks Friday). There are also swag codes put out on almost a daily basis. You can find out about the swag codes through their twitter, facebook, and blog pages. A swag code is usually worth 1-2 points. You enter it on your swagbucks home page in the "gimme" box. 45 swag bucks will get you a $5 amazon gift certificate($5 paypal is 80 swag bucks).

I was earning 1 and a half amazon gift cards by myself a month(so $7.50), but just last month I made $20. Swagbucks not only pays you to search, it also pays you when someone you refer searches(up to 100 SB per referral). You can really rake in the Swag Bucks if you get a bunch of your friends and family using the system!
