New Baby at 6 Weeks

It's hard to believe she's been here for six weeks already! She has grown so much too, she's over 11lbs already. Just look at those full cheeks!

It's taking some time to adjust to being mommy to three little ones. It doesn't help that my son is only 21 months old and isn't as articulate as his big sister was at his age! The two under two are defiantly the biggest challenge. My 6 year old is by far the easiest, though she has her moments too(you know all 6 year olds think they are 22 right?).

In addition to adjusting to the new baby, we have also been house hunting. We currently only have two bedrooms and one bathroom(which only has a shower, oh how we miss baths!). With the $8,000 tax incentive that is out right now, we are highly motivated to get a place of our own. We put in our 5th offer last night.

You would think we were asking to be given the houses the way we keep getting turned away! I truly hope to never be house hunting in an up market, I can't handle the rejection we are facing in the down one.We expect to have an answer on the latest house by Friday evening. We will stop looking if we haven't secured a house by the 15th because it would be really tough guaranteeing we close by November 30th(the cut off for the credit).

With all that's been going on I haven't had much time for couponing, deal hunting, or blogging. I am not sure when I will be back to normal on here. Every time I think I'm about ready to jump back in something new is tossed my way or the baby changes her schedule on me. I don't mind, I am just happy to have her here with us happy and healthy.

Yes, after all the worry, we learned when she was 1 week old that she is 100% normal! No chromosomal abnormalities, no down's or turner's syndrome! Thank you to everyone who prayed for our little girl and offered words of encouragement and support. I don't think I could have coped as well as I did if I did not have so many kind people to help me through.

Are you keeping her name a secret? I;m dying to know it! I hope everything with your house hunting works out. I know how stressful looking for house can be!
