Play a Fun Game and Get Fiber One Coupons!
One of the first things I look at when buying a new food product is fiber content. So when the Fiber One bars and cereals hit the shelves a few years ago I was so happy. Not only do the have 25% of the fiber you need for a day, they are so tasty! Now the Fiber One line also includes toaster pastries, yogurt, pancake and muffin mix. I haven't tried the pastries or mixes yet(every time they go on sale, I can't get out to the store, lol).
Fiber One has a new game you can play, fiber friend face off. Once you get registered and choose a character you will get chance to choose food from the game pantry. The goal is to get 25 grams or more of fiber. I scored 32 g my first try! After your fiber has been tallied you will be able to print a $1 coupon for a Fiber One product. Each week a new coupon will be available(a total of 6). This weeks is $1 off honey clusters cereal(coupon expires 5/10/09).
You will also be entered to win prizes just by logging in and for playing.
Daily prize -$50 cash card
Weekly Prize-Flip video camcorder
Grand prize -Spa getaway for 2!
get one entry everyday you log in and 5 additional entries each day you play the game
Buzzback.com
I participate in many online survey sites. One that I like a lot is Buzzback.com. Buzzback is similar to Pinecone research in that they both send you payment immediately after you complete the survey. You don't have to wait to accumulate so many points or to reach a certain dollar amount before you cash out.
You will receive an email letting you know a survey is waiting. The invite will tell you how much that particular survey pays(most surveys pay $2- $5). The payment will be made via check, and it should arrive a few weeks after you completed the survey.
Unlike Pinecone, Buzzback is always open to new panelist. You can sign up here. They do not have a referral program where you can get more money/points for each person you refer. That is the only"fault" I have found with this site. If you sign up, let me know how you like it in a month or so:)

A few Things
First, if you subscribe to my blog you probably received an update about a free Pantene sample. I did not post this yesterday. It was a post a few weeks ago, but I am not sure why it was sent out as a daily update on Friday.
Second, I will be working on the Meijer ad off and on today as time(and kids) permit. This week looks pretty good. There is another 10/10 11th free sale, plus the frozen food event that last all month. Hopefully I will be done by 9 or 10 pm.
Once the Meijer ad is complete I will do the Drugstore deals and will be doing the Jungle Jim's Deals tomorrow or Monday.
Last thing, the Huggies coupon has officially been reset! When I printed mine the $5 one was already gone, but the $3 is still available, you can print it here
** the $5 coupon is still available, I just over looked it!

February Grocery Totals
We spent $232.03 this month on groceries(goal/budget is $200 or less). This total is after adding back in two rebates I received totaling $16. I didn't keep track of the savings part very well so I do not have those numbers. I know we did not get as much food as we have in previous months(and our total was lower in those months).
3 things that really hurt the budget this month:
1. (and probably the biggest!) I sent my husband out Sundays to get my extra paper and milk. He couldn't help but add 2-4 cartons of ice cream each trip, along with whatever else he wanted...
2. I did not clip my coupons at all this month and I really didn't do much deal chasing. I bought what I wanted for the most part, as opposed to buying what's on sale or free(a lot of the things I wanted did end up being on sale but I would have gotten them if they weren't).
3. I did not do any rebates or shop at the drugstores. I typically buy the money maker items and use that to pay for the things I do need.I am out of ECB and RR. I do have some gift card funds for both stores(CVS and Walgreens), so starting over wont cost too much out of pocket.
3 things I need to do to get back on track:
1. Keep track of my purchases as I make them so I know how much I have left to spend
2. Get the mountain of coupons organized(and mail pet food coupons out to my coupon buddy)!
3. Get back to drugstore shopping and pick up my own paper on Sundays(keep the husband out of the store!)
Being $32 over budget really isn't too bad, but as the number of coupons in my binder goes down(because they have expired/been used and not been replaced by newer coupons) and our "I don't care, I want it" attitudes grow, so will the overage!

Printble Sites Limits Reset
coupons.com has reset their print limits along with adding new coupons. Most of the new ones are General Mills brand products(bc frosting, cookie mix, yogurt , chex mix, cheerios mix, and warm delights to name a few).
The $5 and $3 huggies coupons are still available too! Ops, MIL, any one else want to print these for me?!
A few other goodies available at coupons.com are $1 off V8, $1 off healthy valley(organic products- Kroger carries this brand!), and another Free Diet Dr. Pepper offer.
Be sure to check the list of "More Sites With Printables" that I have listed on my Left sidebar for even more savings!
